Sterling Main Street uses the National Main Street Center’s Four-Point Approach to downtown revitalization. This approach is based on a comprehensive strategy, tailored to local needs and opportunities in four broad areas:

Every aspect of Sterling Main Street revolves around volunteers. People are needed on the four working committees: design, organization, promotion, and economic restructuring. New ideas and diverse talents are always welcome in these committees which meet monthly.
Sterling Main Street is funded locally by contributions from individuals, families, businesses, building owners, local government, grants, and proceeds from special events, and fundraisers. Donations are tax deductible and are used to implement projects and programs to enhance and promote downtown Sterling.
