Why become a Main Street Partner?
Sterling Main Street is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that works to promote a growing, thriving and prosperous business community in Sterling’s downtown district, with the goal of achieving a responsible balance between historic preservation and economic development. As a volunteer-driven organization, we invite all businesses, organizations and residents to become a partner as we continue to improve the heart and soul of our city.
Established in 1999, and having received our state and national Main Street® program accreditation in 2009, Sterling Main Street has worked tirelessly to promote the revitalization of Downtown Sterling.
Since Sterling Main Street is a community project, you don’t have to be located in or work in the downtown area to be a part of it. The downtown belongs to all of us. A vibrant downtown sends an important message about our community pride.
Your Partnership help support Sterling Main Street’s ongoing revitalization efforts within the downtown. They help us continue to provide the community with events such as Movies at Grandon, Seasonal Sights & Sounds, Hot Dog Day, Music Fest and more. Sterling Main Street is very proud to state that all partnership contributions are reinvested in the community and are not used for its administrative expenses. Please join us as we continue on our journey to revitalize downtown Sterling.
Our 2017 Partnership Campaign is now underway. Please take a view minutes to review our accomplishments of 2016 and our goals moving forward. Your partnership contributions are critical in allowing Sterling Main Street to continue its good works – either on behalf of your business or organization, or as a individual donor, every contribution helps.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions for for additional information on becoming a Main Street partner.
